History
The Texas Harm Reduction Alliance (THRA) emerged in early 2019 in response to unprecedented opioid overdose rates and the apparent statewide need for harm reduction advocacy.
THRA now provides Austin-based direct services as well as statewide education and capacity-building. We serve people impacted by substance use, overdose, incarceration, HIV, hepatitis, and sex work. We continue to help prevent overdoses and reduce risks in our community.
